And the award for bitter ex goes to…
Mary J. Blige’s estranged husband Martin “Kendu” Isaacs is holding on to her Grammy award, which he was supposed to hand over in February, TMZ reports.
The “No More Drama” singer’s life is still plagued with drama thanks to her ex Isaacs, who she alleges in new divorce documents is still holding onto her prized possessions, including a Grammy, other awards and two luxury cars.
Blige, 45, claims in the documents that Isaacs has refused to hand over one of her trophies, as well as the two Mercedes’ a C300 and SL550.
The singer also states that her ex-hubby also conned her out of $420,000 in business expenses when he served as a manager.
Blige and Isaacs, 49, have been involved in an ongoing messy divorce battle with her soon-to-be-ex-husband demanding nearly $130,000 in spousal support and other crazed demands like a private chef, personal trainer and his wardrobe paid for.
The pair married in 2003 and Blige filed for divorce in July citing “irreconcilable differences.”
“Ms. Blige is saddened to say it is true that she has filed for divorce saying sometimes things don’t work how we hoped they would, but there is a divine plan and a reason for everything,” the singer’s rep said in a statement to The News at the time.
It is unclear if the couple had a prenuptial in place.
Side Bar: What do you think about this? We love some Mary J. over here. Really, dude you think you should keep a GRAMMY?
