*Nipsey Hussle’s longtime girlfriend Lauren London has finally broken her silence over his fatal shooting in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The 34-year-old actress paid tribute to her boyfriend of five years in a brief statement shared on Instagram (see the full post below)

“I am completely lost,” London wrote. “I’ve lost my best friend, my sanctuary, my protector, my soul. We are lost without you babe — I have no words.”

The post included a slideshow of images of Hussle and their family, including their 2-year-old son Kross. London is also mother to son Cameron Carter with rapper Lil Wayne and Hussle, 33, has a daughter from a previous relationship.

Most recently, London and Hussle opened up about their romance in the March issue of GQ.

“Lauren was handpicked by John Singleton to do Snowfall. She read, got the part, shot the pilot… did stunts… this was her dream role,” he told GQ. “And then she got pregnant with our son. That was a really hard decision for her to make,” said Hussle.

Nipsey was gunned down outside of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31. The 29-year-old suspected shooter, Eric Holder, was apprehended by police on Tuesday.

“Mr. Holder walked up on multiple occasions and engaged in a conversation with Nipsey and the others that were there,” LAPD Chief Michel Moore said. “He left and subsequently came back armed with a handgun, and purposefully and repeatedly fired, striking and killing Nipsey Hussle.”

Nipsey’s sister, Samantha Smith, also took to Instagram to remember her late brother.

“I need you I need you please let me hold you again. You are my baby. To the world you are the strongest man and to me you are the most vulnerable innocent child,” Smith wrote in the post’s caption. “You gave me so much insight. We will talk every second of everyday and I am here to carry out your vision. Ermias God Will Rise. I love you forever and I will cry forever. You are my lifeline as long as I am here you are too.”
