On Saturday, June 22nd, Durham was sizzling hot as some of today’s top actors and executives came together at The Durham Convention Center to bring entertainment education and knowledge to the Triangle. Ms. Monica Benton is no stranger to North Carolina and the talent we groom here. Her passion and expertise led her to bring some of her talented friends such as Wilson, NC native Miguel Nunez ( Juwanna Mann, Life & BET’s The Game: Family Business), Tyler Lepley (Bennie Young) and Aaron O’Connell (Wyatt Cryer) (Tyler Perry’s The Have and The Have Not’s), Sean Blakemore (General Hospital, Greenleaf), Eltony Williams and Jay Hunter ( Tyler Perry’s If  Loving You is Wrong ), Brely Evans ( Ambition, for the OWN NETWORK, BET’s The Game: Family Business), Patrice Lovely (Hattie) (Tyler Perry’s Love Thy Neighbor and Boo 1&2 movies), Mark Swinson (VP of Tyler Perry Studios), and so many more!

The attendees where able to learn about the latest techniques, technology, trade business cards and literally ask direct questions to the panelists. Some acknowledge this event was just the inspiration and jump start they needed to DREAM BIG again!

Lemoi Desina aka The Lyrical Storyteller (Guest Host and Red Carpet Correspondent for The Industry Highlighter), with the help of Paul Ward (The Industry Highlighter Magazine Celebrity Photographer) caught up with the actors for candidate interviews and moments.
