    It was a mesmerizing and horrifying second Friday evening, when a fireplace twister was whipped up … as large blazes continued to destroy parts of Los Angeles.

    The twister — or “firenado” — was filmed by Fox 11 on the northern flank of the Palisades hearth — as winds whipped the large flames into the gorgeous climate phenomenon.

    Fox11’s Adam Krueger marveled in the mean time … whereas explaining it happens when a breeze meets up with an updraft — inflicting a vortex, which picks up flames, ensuing within the firenado.


    The Palisades Hearth, which broke out on Tuesday, stays the biggest hearth ravaging Los Angeles County — it has destroyed greater than 21,000 acres in Pacific Palisades and Malibu, and is at the moment solely 8% contained, now essentially the most damaging wildfire in Los Angeles historical past.
