    Portishead’s Beth Gibbons Announces First-Ever U.S. Solo Concerts

    Portishead’s Beth Gibbons has introduced her first-ever solo live shows in North America. Her tour in assist of her debut solo album, Lives Outgrown, contains reside performances in Washington, D.C., New York, and Los Angeles, with assist from Bill Ryder-Jones.     Gibbons introduced Lives Outgrown with the only “Floating on a Moment,” and likewise shared “Lost Changes” and “Reaching Out” forward of the total LP’s launch. James Ford produced the album alongside Gibbons, with further manufacturing from Talk Talk drummer Lee Harris.

    The ultimate Portishead album up to now, Third, got here out practically 17 years in the past, and Gibbons performed her most up-to-date U.S. exhibits, behind that album, with the band in 2011. Gibbons’ interim tasks embody an look on Kendrick Lamar’s music “Mother I Sober,” the JJ Doom collaboration “GMO,” a Black Sabbath cover with a steel band, and the soundtrack contribution “Prospera’s Coda” for a movie adaptation of The Tempest.
