    Big Thief Release New Passional Relations EP to Support Wildfire Relief Efforts

    Big Thief have launched a brand new EP to help wildfire aid efforts in California. A majority of proceeds from the five-track Passional Relations will go towards the Plus1 LA Fires Fund. Additional proceeds will help native musicians, artists, and neighborhood members. Head to the band’s webstore to purchase the digital EP for $15.

    Passional Relations opens with two songs—“Creativeness” and “Gentle as Gentle”—that the group recorded with Dom Monks in 2020. The third track, “Ready on Blue,” was recorded with Scott McMicken in 2020, and it options vocals from Mat Davidson. The fourth observe, “Zombie Woman,” additionally comes from 2020, and it was recorded by Sam Owens at Flying Cloud. (A distinct model of “Zombie Girl” featured on Adrianne Lenker’s Songs.) And the closing track, “Shadow Too,” was recorded by Large Thief’s James Krivchenia, in Topanga, California, in 2018.
