    Little Simz to Curate London’s Meltdown Festival 2025

    Little Simz has been tapped to curate Meltdown Competition 2025 at London’s Southbank Centre. The rapper will handpick the lineup for the thirtieth version of the British music pageant, following within the footsteps of earlier curators like David Bowie, Pattie Smith, and Christine and the Queens. A mixture of ticketed concert events, free out of doors exhibits, and extra workshops, the pageant will run June 12-22. Simz’s first picks for the lineup can be revealed within the spring.

    “I am tremendous excited to be the 2025 Meltdown pageant curator! My staff and I are making ready eleven days of artwork, music, workshops and extra,” Simz stated in a press release. “So many unimaginable artists have curated this pageant, so it’s a real honor to be part of it. Thanks to the Southbank Centre for having me. Meltdown 2025 the Simz manner goes to be epic. I’ll see you there.”

    It’s been three years since Simz final launched an album, along with her fifth LP, No Thank You, arriving again in 2022. Since then, she’s put out the Drop 7 EP, hopped on Sampha’s observe “Satellite tv for pc Enterprise 2.0,” and shared her electrical Glastonbury set as a stay album.
