    Drake Settles Legal Dispute With iHeartMedia Over “Not Like Us” Promotion

    Drake and iHeartMedia Inc. have settled the legal action that Drake introduced in opposition to the iHeartRadio proprietor over an alleged pay-to-play scheme to spice up Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” courtroom data present. In an announcement to Pitchfork, iHeartMedia stated, “In trade for paperwork that confirmed iHeart did nothing incorrect, Drake agreed to drop his petition. No funds have been made—by both of us.”

Drake’s petition, filed in Bexar County, Texas, additionally claimed that UMG ought to have blocked the discharge of “Not Like Us,” on the idea that it “falsely [accused] him of being a intercourse offender, participating in pedophilic acts, harboring intercourse offenders, and committing different legal sexual acts.” Drake is constant to pursue his federal lawsuit in opposition to UMG, claiming the label’s launch of “Not Like Us” constitutes harassment and defamation.
