The College of Pittsburgh scholar who disappeared whereas strolling on the seaside within the Dominican Republic is believed to have died after she apparently drowned within the ocean, in response to a report.
ABC Information, citing a police doc, says the tragedy unfolded on March 5 … Sudiksha Konanki, 20, and 5 associates had been taking a stroll alongside the seaside in Punta Cana, a resort city on the Caribbean shoreline.
4 members of the group returned to their resort within the night, leaving Konanki and certainly one of her associates on the seaside. The pair then took a dip within the ocean, throughout which Konanki acquired swept up by an enormous wave and apparently drowned.
The Dominican Republic Public Ministry advised ABC Information that surveillance cameras recorded Konanki on the seaside round 4:15 a.m. on March 6 — and it was the final time she was seen alive.
Police questioned Konanki’s associates after she vanished and ultimately launched them with no prices filed.
Konanki’s dad, Subbarayudu, was interviewed by CNN, and he advised the community his daughter was vacationing together with her associates in Punta Cana.
Subbarayudu additionally advised CNN Konanki was enrolled in pre-med programs at College of Pittsburgh, including that she was formidable and wished to pursue a profession as a health care provider.
