The primary official trailer for Pavements, Alex Ross Perry’s Pavement film, is out right now, together with particulars of its cinema launch. Premieres in New York and Los Angeles, on Might 2 and Might 9, respectively, will precede the movie’s nationwide launch on June 6. The trailer presents the movie’s documentary, biopic, and mockumentary strands in a relentlessly meta collage, mixing archival footage with talking-heads interviews, backstage footage, and clips from the movie-within-a-movie Pavement biopic starring Joe Keery, Jason Schwartzman, Fred Hechinger, Tim Heidecker, Logan Miller, Griffin Newman, and Nat Wolff.
The complete trailer follows a teaser launched earlier this month that introduced that movie-within-a-movie, Vary Life: A Pavement Story, because the characteristic itself, with Keery within the starring function.
