    The Cure have introduced a brand new Songs of a Lost World remix album. The brand new album, Mixes of a Lost World, is out June 13 and options remixes by Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, Trentemøller, Mogwai, Orbital, the Twilight Unhappy, Daniel Avery, Mura Masa, Âme, Shanti Celeste, and extra. Under, hear two new remixes from the album, Four Tet’s take on “Alone” and Paul Oakenfold’s “cinematic” remix of “I Can Never Say Goodbye.”

    Proceeds from Mixes of a Misplaced World will profit War Child UK. In a press release, the Remedy’s Robert Smith stated, “Simply after Christmas I used to be despatched a few unsolicited remixes of Songs of a Misplaced World tracks and I actually beloved them. The Remedy has a vibrant historical past with all types of dance music, and I used to be curious as to how the entire album would sound completely reinterpreted by others. This curiosity resulted in a superb journey by all eight songs by 24 fantastic artists and remixers and is approach past something I might have hoped for. Giving our recording royalties from the mission to Conflict Baby helps make Mixes of a Misplaced World an much more particular launch.”

    Songs of a Misplaced World was launched in November. It marked the Remedy’s first studio album since October 2008’s 4:13 Dream.
