Common Music Group says they’re catching authorized strays in the case of an explosive lawsuit towards Diddy … and so they need a choose to chop them some slack.
This is the deal … former “Making The Band” singer Sara Rivers is suing Diddy for alleged hostile and inhumane treatment … and her lawsuit named UMG as certainly one of a number of dozen defendants.
The music company simply filed a movement to dismiss the lawsuit towards them … arguing they don’t have any enterprise being sued by Sara.
In new authorized docs, obtained by TMZ, UMG argues the case towards them needs to be dismissed as a result of it is time-barred … UMG says the federal claims are preempted by New York state regulation and that it is an improper group pleading that fails to state a declare.
