    Brendan Berg, bassist of Winnipeg-based indie-pop band Royal Canoe, was killed alongside along with his associate after being concerned in a head-on car collision on Tuesday.

    The incident occurred round 3:330 p.m. native time on Freeway 10 in Bowsman, Manitoba, in line with CBC News. Investigators consider a car was driving within the south lane when it veered over the middle line and crashed into Berg’s parked car sitting on the jap fringe of the freeway, inflicting it to roll into the ditch. Berg was 42 years previous on the time of his demise, whereas his associate, Olivia Michalczuk, was 31. The 2 passengers within the different car have been taken to an space hospital with essential accidents.

    “We’re all in a state of shock attempting to course of this tragic information,” Royale Canoe stated in a press release posted to social media. “Brendan was the kindest, sweetest man you can ever know, and his passing has left an infinite gap within the lives of everybody who knew him.”
