    At the moment (July 18) marks the twentieth anniversary of Imogen Heap’s extremely influential 2005 LP, Speak for Yourself. To have a good time, Heap is reissuing the album—her first to be fully self-written and self-produced. Out October 17, by way of Megaphonic, the new edition options up to date cowl art work and is led by a remastered model of its often sampled, famously memed lead single “Hide and Seek.” Take heed to it under, and watch Heap in dialog with engineer Simon Heyworth, who labored on each the unique Communicate for Your self and the anniversary remaster.

    Heap’s final solo album, Sparks, got here out in 2014. Since then, Ariana Grande sampled Communicate for Your self’s “Goodnight and Go” on “Goodnight N Go,” from her 2018 album, Sweetener, and, in 2019, Heap and Man Sigsworth reunited as Frou Frou to share what was then their first new track in over 15 years.
