Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on two big budgets films, Love & War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ramayana with Nitesh Tiwari. The actor had previously allocated his dates to both, but a recent report by Deccan Chronicle has stated that he made some changes to the same. It is being discussed that Ranbir might have to allot his dates for Ramayana to Love & War now.

The report stated that Ranbir wanted to finish filming for Ramayana first. He was then willing to complete his remaining portions for Love & War. However, as Ramayana’s shoot is taking much more time than he had expected, the actor has reportedly decided to finish Love & War before and reallocate his dates to the two movies.

Also, Ranbir had initially planned to finish filming both parts of Ramayana before he dedicated himself to Love & War. But Ramayana’s progress has been slow, so Ranbir couldn’t help but allocate the dates he kept for Ramayana Part 2 to Love & War. This could also change the second instalment’s release date. As Ramayana Part 1 is meant to release on Diwali 2026, the second part will release on Diwali 2027.

In Ramayana, Ranbir stars alongside Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor and more. As for the cast of Love & War, it includes the actor with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Love & War is slated to release on August 14, 2026.

While the actor is working on these two projects, he is also slated to star in Animal’s sequel Animal Park, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. However, Ranbir hasn’t opened up about the details of the project yet. Vanga has also not disclosed the major details but fans have been curious about updates for a long time now.
