No better place to premiere a first look at the upcoming movie adaptation of Street Fighter than The Game Awards. At the annual video game trailer-fest, this early teaser trailer revealed an intense fidelity to the original game series, while spotlighting many iconic characters fighting each other. (Making it a big improvement on past Street Fighter movies.)

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, Street Fighter stars Noah Centineo as Ken, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Eric André as Don Sauvage, Orville Peck as Vega, and Jason Momoa as Blanka.

Check out this first look trailer below. Street Fighter arrives in theaters on October 16th, 2026. Who knows? It could even make our next best movies of the year list.
