The makers of Border 2 released the updated version of the legendary patriotic anthem, Ghar Kab Aaoge (originally known as Sandese Aate Hain) today. The song’s launch took place at a grand event in Jaisalmer, a location that holds deep significance for the franchise’s war-drama roots.
Nearly 28 years after the original film’s release, J.P. Dutta and the production team have brought back the soulful voice of Sonu Nigam to lead the track. To give the song a contemporary yet powerful appeal, Sonu is joined by a stellar lineup of modern musical powerhouses, including Diljit Dosanjh, Arijit Singh, and Vishal Mishra. While the original 1997 composition by Anu Malik remains the foundation, the new version has been recreated by Mithoon, with fresh lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir.
The audio release has already sparked emotional reactions across social media. The song is picturized on the film’s lead ensemble, featuring veteran actor Sunny Deol alongside new additions to the franchise, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
