Siddhant Chaturvedi and Pratibha Ranta are in the news for a recent casting report. As per a report by the publication Mid-Day, Siddhant and Pratibha are likely to headline the Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Dear Comrade.

As fans were excited about the collaboration, Siddhant shared an update on social media to clarify speculations. The actor noted that he is not a part of the movie. He also shared that he does not want to be a part of remakes anymore. “Just to clarify guys – This isn’t true. No remakes for me anymore, even though i’m a fan of the original film and the actors, much love and respect. Thank you. Anyway i’d love to collaborate with the supremely talented @pratibha_ranta [Pratibha Ranta] on something original. Looking forward,” Siddhant shared.

Pratibha hasn’t commented on the development yet. It is not known whether she is confirmed for the film, or the lead cast hasn’t been finalised yet.

The Mid-Day report had previously stated, “Dharma has been keen on revisiting Dear Comrade for a while, but the idea was always to crack the right casting and tone. Siddhant brings the intensity required for the male lead, which became a hit with people after Dhadak 2 [2025]. Pratibha fits the emotional arc of the female protagonist beautifully. She was in talks with the studio for another project and is a good fit for this as well.”

The Telugu movie, Dear Comrade, starred actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in leading roles. It was released in the year 2019. On the professional front, the actor is currently gearing up to release his upcoming film, Do Deewane Seher Mein. He is starring in it, alongside Mrunal Thakur.
