As The Pitt season 2 prepared for the premiere of its sophomore season, the team behind the series knew that the weeks leading up to the show’s return would be hectic. Coming back in early January meant a major press cycle would be underway at the same time as the high point of awards season, where the show and Wyle specifically would be nominated for their work.

During the Golden Globes, Wyle was awarded one of the first statues of the night, taking home the win for Best Actor in a drama series.
