Aryan Khan’s directorial debut The Ba***ds of Bollywood emerged as the most talked about series of 2025. Now, veteran actress Farida Jalal, who has a long standing association with Aryan’s superstar father Shah Rukh Khan, has reacted to the show. During an interview, she was asked whether she watched Aryan’s show, to which the actress acknowledged that the series was good but she felt that it could have been better.

Speaking to Zoom, Jalal welcomed Aryan to the film industry and said, “Welcome home! Yahin ke toh hai, aur kahan jayenge? (You belong here, where else would you go?

Talking about the show, she continued, “I watched it. Theek tha, it was okay. He could have done it better, but accha toh tha (but it was good).”

The Ba**ds of Bollywood follows the journey of Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya), an ambitious outsider navigating the ruthless maze of stardom, glitz, and power struggles in Bollywood. Blending sharp satire with gripping drama, the show boldly peels back the curtain on the lesser-known truths of the film industry. The show features surprising cameos by icons like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, SS Rajamouli, Karan Johar, and more
