Border 2 released in the theatres on January 23, 2025. Since its release, it has been moving steadily at the box office. The film minted around Rs 30 crores on its first day at the box office for all languages.
As per Sacnilk, Border 2 had an overall Hindi occupancy of 32.10% at the theatres. It had an occupancy of 19.46% in the morning shows, 26.33% in the afternoon shows, 34.55% in the evening shows and 48.06% in the night shows. The movie had an occupancy of 24.50% in Mumbai, 32.50% in Bengaluru and 42.00% in Delhi.
Fans have been commenting positively ever since the movie released. This film is directed by Anurag Singh and produced by T-Series and J.P. Films. Many are interested to know about its box office collection. It would be interesting to note if Border 2 shows the potential to be a high grosser.
The lead actor, Sunny Deol, has given many box office hits. His major hit was Gadar 2, which earned around Rs 525.7 crores at the box office. Jaat had earned Rs 88.72 crores at the box office. Gadar: Ek Prem Katha had earned around Rs 76.65 crores while Yamla Pagla Deewana had earned Rs 33.97 crores. The first movie from the Border franchise had earned Rs 39.3 crores. It had released on June 13, 1997.
Varun Dhawan, another lead actor of the movie, has Dilwale as his highest grosser yet. It had earned Rs 148.42 crores at the box office. Judwaa 2 had earned Rs 138.55 crores at the box office. Badrinath Ki Dulhania had earned Rs 117.89 crores at the box office, while ABCD 2 had earned Rs 106.12 crores at the box office.
