Broken Social Scene are back with their first new album in nearly a decade. The Canadian indie-rock supergroup’s Remember the Humans is out May 8 via Arts & Crafts. Leading the LP is the single “Not Around Anymore” and news of a big tour with Metric. Check out the new song and full list of concerts below.

Remember the Humans is Broken Social Scene’s sixth studio album. The follow-up to 2017’s Hug of Thunder sees the band reuniting with producer David Newfeld, who worked on their classic albums You Forgot It in People and Broken Social Scene.

Once the album is out, Broken Social Scene will join Metric—who are releasing their own new album, Romanticize The Dive, on April 24—and Stars on a joint tour of North America. The route, dubbed All the Feelings Tour, begins on June 8 in Austin, Texas before ending the run with a big hometown show on August 7 in Toronto.

After putting out Hug of Thunder, one of the best rock albums of that year, Broken Social Scene rolled out their 2019 Let’s Try the After EPs in two volumes, as well as a collection of B-sides and rarities called Old Dead Young in 2022.
