Xbox Game Pass Is Going From Strength To Strength
It’s been a wild year for Xbox gamers so far, with a major shift in direction and leadership at the company that included a return to an Xbox-first philosophy as opposed to the now defunct “Everything is an Xbox” era. Xbox loyalists were growing discontent with services like Game Pass, questioning its value after a major price hike in 2025.
However, it seems like Xbox and Game Pass are officially course correcting this year, with an official price drop announcement for Ultimate members and a massive list of upcoming free day-one releases on the docket.
