The Andhra Pradesh government today gave a major boost to the film. They granted permission to commence premiere shows at 8 pm on June 3. A new Government Order brought more good news for the makers. The state government allowed ticket rate hikes across theatres. Premiere show tickets are priced at Rs. 600 (GST included). Regular single-screen theatres see hikes by up to Rs. 100. Multiplexes are allowed to increase by Rs. 125. This price hike will remain active for the first week of release. The government also permitted five shows per day across the entire state.
Overseas numbers being closely watched
The sports-based action drama is poised for a record opening in a particular overseas market. North America is expecting a massive start for Ram Charan. His previous film Game Changer set huge records in January 2025. It logged the biggest opening day collections for his solo films. Game Changer grossed 1.39 million dollars on Day 1 including premieres. This despite the film’s trailer being unexciting. Peddi is expected to easily surpass this impressive figure. This project is the first major Telugu release after two months. The entire summer season lacked a big superstar vehicle in theatres. Audiences are hungry for a massive cinematic experience. Trade experts predict historic advance bookings in the overseas market.

PM Modi knows the premise
The team recently attended a promotional event in Delhi. Ram Charan spoke about his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He mentioned that Modi asked him about the story of Peddi. The actor explained that the film focuses on empowering Indian villages. He told the Prime Minister that it aligns beautifully with the vision of a developed nation.
