Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition is arriving on the Switch 2 on August 28th. Co-written by Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin with director Hidetaka Miyazaki, the action RPG arrives on Nintendo’s latest handheld four years after its original release. Pre-orders are ongoing.
Pre-order Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition
For $79.99, the Tarnished Edition includes the base Elden Ring game, the 2024 expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, and new starting classes, weapons, gear, and options for players to customize their Spectral Steed. The new content will also be available to purchase for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.
The game arrives just ahead of Nintendo’s September 1st price increase on the Switch 2, which will raise the standalone console’s cost from $449.99 to $499.99. To soften the blow, the company is now offering a “Choose Your Game” Switch 2 bundle that comes with one of three console-exclusive games. It can be purchased on Amazon for $499.99.
The additional content included in #ELDENRING Tarnished Edition will also be available for purchase on other platforms.
