Ravi Teja’s role in his upcoming film Irumudi, directed by Shiva Nirvana, has created significant buzz among fans. The film is an emotional family drama set against a powerful devotional backdrop. Ravi Teja will be seen as a caring father who shares a deep and affectionate bond with his daughter. The recently released BTS stills offer glimpses of several heartwarming father-daughter moments. More importantly, the actor appears to be stepping into an introspective character, a marked departure from many of the larger-than-life roles he has portrayed in the past.

As a devoted father, Ravi Teja’s character resolves to give up alcohol by undertaking Ayyappa Deeksha. The Irumudi, a sacred bundle of offerings carried by devotees, symbolizes the culmination of the 41-day spiritual observance. In the film, this journey appears to be less about ritual and more about personal transformation, self-discipline and redemption.

Irumudi blends action, faith, relationships and emotional family drama. The film is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Baby Nakshathra play pivotal roles in the narrative.
