The latest social media interaction between Alia Bhatt and Prabhas suggests the suspense might finally be over. The Baahubali star may have indirectly confirmed her involvement. The clue came when he shared a promotional post for her Bollywood film Alpha on his Instagram Stories. He described the trailer as “amazing and promising” and gave a special shoutout to the actress, wishing her all the best. Alia responded to the gesture with a warm thank you.
A versatile actress
The actress is currently betting big on the action thriller, which co-stars Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and others. She has built an incredible reputation for handling complex and demanding narratives. Audiences have seen her versatility in projects like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Raazi, and Udta Punjab. She also made a lasting impression down south with her role in RRR.
The shoot for Kalki 2 has already commenced. It will feature legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan alongside Prabhas. Sai Pallavi is said to be stepping into the shoes of Deepika Padukone’s Sumathi.
An incredible line-up
Meanwhile, both Alia and Prabhas have packed line-ups. Alpha, a female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe, releases on July 3. Prabhas is shooting the period drama Fauji with Hanu Raghavapudi. He will also lead the cop action drama Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Finally, he returns to the violent world of Khansaar in Salaar 2.
