Ram Charan is all set to reunite with filmmaker Sukumar for their upcoming project, tentatively titled RC17. The film has already generated considerable buzz, and the latest reports suggest that Sara Arjun is being considered to play the female lead opposite Ram Charan.
According to reports, the makers have zeroed in on Sara Arjun for the role and have already initiated discussions with the actress. However, the formal agreement is yet to be signed. An official announcement regarding her involvement is expected soon.
Meanwhile, RC17 is reportedly gearing up for its official launch later this month. The makers are planning to hold a traditional pooja ceremony on October 25 or 26, depending on the finalisation of an auspicious muhurtham. Sara Arjun, who has previously been associated with Telugu cinema through Gunasekhar’s Euphoria, is now reportedly being considered for a leading role in this much-awaited project.
The upcoming film will also mark another collaboration between Ram Charan and Sukumar, who previously worked together on the blockbuster Rangasthalam. Their reunion has raised expectations among fans, who are eagerly looking forward to seeing what the actor-director duo has in store.
Although several details about RC17 remain under wraps, speculation surrounding the cast and production schedule continues to build excitement. Fans are now awaiting an official confirmation from the makers regarding Sara Arjun’s casting and the film’s launch date.
Music composers Anirudh Ravichander and Shashwat Sachdev are reportedly in discussions to come on board for RC17. An official confirmation regarding the film’s music team is expected shortly. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the upcoming project is being planned on a grand scale with a substantial budget and is reportedly targeting a theatrical release in 2028.
