Nintendo Switch 2 Sales Starting Early Ahead Of Black Friday

Black Friday is still more than a month away, but that shouldn’t stop Nintendo Switch 2 owners from getting some discounts physical Nintendo games ahead of the main event. The weeks leading up to Black Friday sometimes have even better deals than the day itself, even if the shiny doorbusters aren’t quite as big.

That’s already looking to be the case this year, with a few standout Switch 2 games currently available for some impressive discounts. This is likely just the tip of the iceberg, and those looking to expand their Switch 2 catalog should keep their eyes peeled as we inch closer and closer to the main event.

As spotted by GameRant, Amazon is currently offering discounts on some major Square Enix RPGs for the Nintendo Switch 2. The big deals are as follows:

    Game

    Original Price

    Sale Price

    Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade

    $39.99

    $24.88

    Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

    $49.99

    $34.99

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales

    $59.99

    $44.99

    Octopath Traveler 0

    $49.99

    $29.99

For The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales and Octopath Traveler 0, the same sales apply on other systems. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, meanwhile, have different prices according to the platform.

All of these games are recent releases for the Switch 2, launching for the platform within the last year. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth are impressive ports of the first two games in the FF7 remake trilogy, which debuted on PlayStation 5 before going multi-platform. Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is set to launch in April next year, so this could be the perfect time for Nintendo Switch owners to catch up on the first two.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales and Octopath Traveler 0 are both HD-2D games in the pixelated style that Square Enix popularized. The Adventures of Elliot is an action RPG following a vaguely similar formula to The Legend of Zelda, which could make it a good way to pre-game the Ocarina of Time remake coming in a couple of weeks. Even with the discount, The Adventures of Elliot is still $49.99, so the particularly thrifty might want to keep waiting in hopes of a steeper sale.

Like the other Octopath Traveler games, Octopath Traveler 0 is a turn-based title with eight-character parties. In this case, however, players take on the role of a custom protagonist who seeks to restore their destroyed hometown over the course of the game.

It seems like a good month to buy Square Enix games on Amazon, as the company also embraced plenty of discounts during the Prime Big Deal Days early in October. Hopefully, it’s a sign of more discounts to come, making it possible to stock up on some huge Square Enix adventures to keep Nintendo Switch 2 owners thoroughly occupied throughout the holiday season. There’s no guarantee the sales will stick around, though, so anyone particularly intent on diving into an RPG might want to act now.
