Ariana Grande is an Academy Award nominee. The singer and co-star of Wicked has been nominated, at the 2025 Oscars, for Finest Supporting Actress for her position as Galinda “Glinda” Upland. She’s up in opposition to Monica Barbaro (A Full Unknown), Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), Isabella Rossellini (Conclave), and Zoe Saldaña (Emilia Pérez).
Grande’s Depraved co-star, Cynthia Erivo, obtained a nod for Finest Actress for her portrayal of Elphaba Thropp. And the movie is up for Best Picture.
