    Baths Announces First Album Since 2017, Shares Video for New Song “Sea of Men”: Watch

    Will Wiesenfeld has introduced his first correct Baths studio album since 2017’s Romaplasm. The brand new album, Gut, is out February 21 by way of Basement’s Basement. Main the 11-track challenge is “Sea of Men,” which comes with a music video directed and edited by Wiesenfeld. Watch it beneath (by way of Paper).

    Wiesenfeld started work on Intestine earlier than the pandemic, and he completed it in April 2022, in response to a press launch. “Intestine is basically me attempting to make my emotions make sense by not initially psychoanalyzing them,” the musician stated in an announcement, “by as an alternative simply having emotions stated and placed on the desk.”

    Since Romaplasm, Wiesenfeld has launched the 2020 Baths compilation Pop Music / False B-Sides II, a number of soundtrack albums for Netflix’s Bee and PuppyCat, and several other Geotic albums, together with this 12 months’s The Anchorite.

    Revisit Pitchfork’s “The 100 Best Songs of 2017,” that includes Baths’ “Dream Daddy” at No. 86.
