Buck Meek has an album on the way. The singer-songwriter and Big Thief guitarist will release The Mirror, the follow-up to Haunted Mountain, on February 27, via 4AD. With the announcement comes a single, “Gasoline,” and a Noel Paul–directed video featuring the musicians who play on the track: Ken Woodward, Adam Brisbin, and Jesse Quebbeman-Turley. Big Thief drummer and sometime producer James Krivchenia produced the new LP at Meek and Germaine Dunes’ log-cabin studio in Los Angeles, Ringo Bingo. Adrianne Lenker contributed vocals, and ambient composers Alex Somers and Mary Lattimore are also among the players.
