Car Seat Headrest have shared one other choice from their forthcoming new studio album, a self-described rock opera entitled The Scholars. “CCF (I’m Gonna Stay With You)” follows lead single “Gethsemane,” and is accompanied by an animated music video that includes cartoons by Cate Wurtz. Watch it under.

Explaining the track in a press assertion, the band write: “Beolco is a scholar of Parnassus College, a university based in ages previous by a famed playwright often called the Scop. Beolco is deeply keen on each the faculty and the Scop, believing himself to be spiritually related or reincarnated from the playwright. He yearns for affirmation of this secret perception.”

The right follow-up to 2020’s Making a Door Less Open, The Students is out Could 2 through Matador. Following the document’s launch, Automobile Seat Headrest will embark on a quick headlining tour of the U.S., together with stops at Salt Lake Metropolis’s Kilby Block Social gathering and New York Metropolis’s Governors Ball music festivals.
