Cheap Trick have introduced their new album, All Washed Up, out November 14th by way of BMG. As a preview, they’ve shared lead single “Twelve Gates.” Stream it under.
Marking their twenty first studio album, All Washed Up was co-produced by the band with Julian Raymond and blended by Chris Lord Alge. It was recorded all through 2024 at studios in Nashville (Sound Emporium Studios, Blackbird, Love Shack, Zen) and Los Angeles (Sweetzerland Studios). Pre-orders are ongoing.
In an announcement, lead singer/guitarist Robin Zander merely described the upcoming launch as “only one extra nice album from one of the best rock band on this planet.”
In the meantime, the upbeat “Twelve Gates” conveys an optimistic perspective with lyrics like, “Possibly, perhaps a change of coronary heart/ Possibly it’s only a model new begin/ Can you’re feeling it going ’spherical?/ A brand new style coming, coming down.”
