Darkside have introduced their third studio album, Nothing. The trio of Nicolás Jaar, Dave Harrington, and lately added drummer Tlacael Esparza will launch the report February 28 through Matador, simply earlier than their 2025 tour—their first full trek of North American in 11 years. Darkside have shared a brand new single from their new LP, together with a trippy music video. Take a look at “S.N.C” under, and scroll down for the album artwork and tracklist.

Nothing follows Darkside’s 2021 full-length, Spiral. The musicians started rehearsing materials for Nothing in 2022, once they rented a storefront in northeast Los Angeles and jammed all through the summer time. They dubbed the house “The Spiral Home,” and spent hours improvising. A lot of the album was born from these impromptu periods.

Recording for the album started amid a 2023 tour—the band’s first since 2014. Darkside decamped to a studio within the south of France, and recorded the rest of the album in studios in Los Angeles and Paris.
