    David Lynch died on account of cardiac arrest, with continual obstructive pulmonary illness cited because the underlying trigger, in response to a dying certificates launched by the Los Angeles County Division of Public Well being on Friday (by way of TMZ).

    The 78-year-old filmmaker passed away on January 16th, 2025. He was cremated and his stays have been buried on the Hollywood Perpetually Cemetery, the dying certificates notes.
