Deafheaven have launched their sixth album, Lonely Folks with Energy, together with a brief movie for the LP’s observe “Winona.” Each the LP and the seven-minute film may be streamed beneath.
The album’s launch comes forward of the blackgaze band’s spring North American tour, which kicks off April nineteenth in Los Angeles, and options help from Gatecreeper and Trauma Ray. Tickets are available here.
Lonely Folks with Energy was preceded by the singles “Magnolia” and “Heathen,” with the previous being named our Heavy Song of the Week in late January and the latter being named an honorable mention in the identical function in late February.

The brand new album is the follow-up to 2021’s Infinite Granite, which marked a sonic shift to a extra melodic sound for Deafheaven.
