    Deftones are coming again with their first studio album in practically 5 years: Private Music arrives August 22 (through Reprise/Warner). Its lead single, “My Mind Is a Mountain,” is out now, and you’ll hearken to it under.

    Personal Music follows Deftones’ 2020 full-length, Ohms, and is the band’s tenth studio album. Deftones co-produced and recorded it in California and Nashville with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who additionally labored with them on 2010’s Diamond Eyes and 2012’s Koi No Yokan.

    Starting in August, Deftones will get again on the highway for the second leg of their 2025 North American tour. Help on the tour comes from Phantogram, Idles, and the Barbarians of California. Deftones may even play a pair of exhibits with System of a Down in Toronto in September. See Deftones’ tour dates under.
