Dirty Projectors’ David Longstreth scored author and director Isaiah Saxon’s new A24 film, The Legend of Ochi, and he’s now introduced the small print of the soundtrack album. The album is out on the identical day because the movie’s theatrical launch, April 25, and it’s preceded by three new songs. Hearken to “Prelude,” “The Pond,” and “The River” beneath.
Whereas Longstreth’s Legend of Ochi album is basically orchestral, it does embody a brand new Soiled Projectors track “Through the Long and Lonely Night,” an alternate model of which options within the film. The Legend of Ochi stars Willem Dafoe, Finn Wolfhard, Helena Zengel, and Emily Watson. It premiered at Sundance in Janaury.
