The newest set for Disney Lorcana is here. Called Winterspell, it’s a winter- and holiday-themed set featuring new cards for popular characters like Stitch, Tinker Belll, and Goofy while also focusing on Disney properties like Mickey’s Christmas Carol and Pocahontas. New cards of characters from Mulan and Frozen also appear.

This will be the first time Angel from Lilo & Stitch has appeared in Disney Lorcana, so expect to see her quite a bit in Winterspell. It’s cool to see personal favorites like Darkwing Duck and Launchpad also show up, along with The Fox and the Hound glimmers. If you grew up with ’80s and ’90s Disney cartoons, there’s a lot to love here.

    Winterspell Cards Include Holiday-Themed Favorites

The holiday season may be technically over, but the celebrations are still going strong with the release of Winterspell. Various characters from Mickey’s Christmas Carol can be found within, and so can glimmers from Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas. Even cards that aren’t necessarily holiday-focused still get the wintertime treatment.

Cards like Stitch, Carefree Snowboarder and Lilo, Bundled Up show the typically beach-loving duo playing in the snow. Cards featuring Goofy, Pocahontas, and Tod from The Fox and the Hound show the characters playing in a winter wonderland. Of course, no winter set would be complete without new Frozen cards and glimmers like Mickey Mouse, Snowboard Ace.

What’s Included In The Winterspell Illumineer’s Trove

Once again, there’s an Illumineer’s Trove being offered at the release of the new Disney Lorcana set. The Illumineer’s Trove for Winterspell includes:

    • 8 Booster packs (each with 12 randomized cards inside)
    • 6 Card dividers
    • 6 Damage-counter dice
    • 1 spin-dial lore counter
    • 1 storage box

The card dividers feature Grandmother Willow, Pocahontas, Tod, Goofy, Darkwing Duck, and Stitch. You also get glimpses of them on the storage box alongside artwork from the Tinker Bell, Snowflake Collector card. The dice are frosted this time around, which plays nicely into the winter vibes.

How Winterspell Compares To Previous Disney Lorcana Sets

There’s not a lot to separate the new one from previous Illumineer’s Troves, but Winterspell continues Disney Lorcana‘s trend of showing characters we love in a new light. The artwork on the new cards is really strong, and despite missing new Starter Decks this time around, I’m excited to see what the latest glimmers have to offer.

Winterspell may be the most well-designed Disney Lorcana set ever.

Winterspell is the most unified Disney Lorcana set to date. The TCG has gone all-out in designing art, abilities, and characters that perfectly fit within this wintertime theme. In fact, Winterspell may be the most well-designed set ever. I’m thoroughly impressed by what we’ve gotten here, and it’s a good sign of things to come in 2026.
