Last year in May, Rashmika Mandanna attended the pre-release event of Anand Deverakonda’s (Vijay Deverakonda’s brother) film Gam Gam Ganesha. During the event, Anand playfully asked Rashmika who is her favourite co-star. While the crowd was chanting, ‘Rowdy Rowdy’ (referring to Vijay Deverakonda), Rashmika replied, “Anand…you are my family, why do you put me in a spot by asking such questions.” Fans quickly point out that her idea of calling Anand ‘family’ was obvious enough about her relationship status.
Fan calls Rashmika, Vadina (Bhabhi)
Rashmika’s presence during the important promotional events of Anand’s films like Baby and Gam Gam Ganesha was obviously expected. As the rumours about the actress dating Vijay Deverakonda gained momentum, it became the talk of the tinsel town eventually. Even while fans were trying to spot the similarities during their vacations the rumoured couple maintained stoic silence. But Vijay and Rashmika’s mutual admiration for their performances in their respective films is only growing on social media. And when Vijay walked in as chief guest for Rashmika’s latest film, it came as no surprise. But the high point came when a fan called Rashmika, ‘Vadina’ (Bhabhi). The actress blushed at the comment and smiled.
Everyone has a VD in their lives: Rashmika
Rashmika Mandanna went on to explain about Vijay’s support for The Girlfriend. She shared that he has been there right from the beginning, while shooting and also part of the whole journey personally. “I hope there’s Vijay Deverakonda in everybody’s life,” she encapsulated. Perhaps, that’s an enough indication of what he means to her. Netizens started concluding that Vijay and Rashmika have dropped enough hints for the audiences to ponder. Amid reports that both are entering wedlock in February, Vijay and Rashmika are teaming up for the third time in director Rahul Sankrityan. The film has already commenced shooting.
