    Donald Trump says he has but to determine whether or not to pardon Sean “Diddy” Combs for his sex crimes conviction, admitting that Combs being “very hostile to me” throughout his first time period is enjoying a task within the determination.

    The president made the feedback throughout an interview on Newsmax on Friday, the place he was particularly requested whether or not he’s contemplating pardoning Combs. “Nicely, he was basically, I suppose, form of half harmless. [He’s] nonetheless in jail or one thing, however he was celebrating a victory. However I suppose it wasn’t nearly as good of a victory,” Trump mentioned of Combs’ intercourse crimes case, wherein he was convicted on two counts of transportation to interact in prostitution.     Earlier this week, Deadline reported that Trump was “seriously considering” pardoning Combs, who faces up to 20 years in prison. Past reporting suggested that Combs’ team was hoping to appeal to Trump by drawing a comparison between their shared stories — two successful businessmen supposedly targeted by federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York with “baseless” accusations of sexual assault.

    Combs’ sentencing date is set for October 3rd.

    Well, he was essentially, I guess, sort of half innocent. Probably— I was very friendly with him but when I ran for office he was very hostile and it’s hard. So, I don’t know, it’s more difficult.
