BTS is finally returning to the stage, but for Indian fans, the news is bittersweet. On January 14, BigHit Music officially announced the dates for the group’s highly anticipated 2026-2027 World Tour. While the schedule includes 79 shows across 34 regions, India is notably missing from the list.

The tour is set to kick off in April 2026 in Goyang, South Korea, followed by performances in Tokyo, Las Vegas, London, and several Southeast Asian cities like Bangkok and Singapore. This marks the group’s first full-scale global tour since all seven members – RM, Jin, SUGA, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook completed their mandatory military service.

The exclusion has hit Indian fans particularly hard due to a wave of recent hints that suggested otherwise. Just weeks ago, member V (Kim Taehyung) sent the internet into a frenzy during a Weverse live session when he greeted fans with Namaste and specifically told Indian ARMY, “See you next year.”

Taking to social media, fans expressed their disappointment. One user on X wrote, “We’ve waited years for this reunion, and seeing India missing from the list again feels like a heartbreak we weren’t ready for. One fan wrote, “We really thought this was the year. After Tae said ‘See you next year,’ we were already planning our savings. Seeing the list without India feels like a personal heartbreak.”

The account @teamindiaforbts and other fan portals saw a flood of emotional messages, with many fans hoping that more dates would be added later. Some fans even started trending hashtags like #BTSinIndia to grab the agency’s attention.

While the current schedule runs through March 2027, BigHit Music has mentioned that additional dates may be announced in the future. For now, Indian fans are left holding onto that small thread of hope, even as they prepare to watch the global tour unfold from a distance.
