Lana Del Rey has shared a snippet of a music recognized to followers for a lyric directed at Ethel Cain. A video clip posted on her Instagram web page yesterday exhibits Del Rey driving because the music performs within the background, beginning with the lyric in query: “Ethel Cain hated my Instagram put up/Suppose it’s cute reenacting my Chicago pose.” Watch it on her Instagram page.

Whereas bits and items of the music have leaked over time, that is essentially the most substantial chunk but of what seems to be a proper recording. Followers have a surmised that the lyrics relate to Cain’s obvious involvement with Salem’s Jack Donoghue, Del Rey’s ex. The point out of an Instagram put up within the lyrics seemingly refers to a pair of posts, by the respective artists, in 2022: Del Rey with Donoghue exterior a jail; Cain with him by a dam. One other portion of the music, wherein she sings the road “Essentially the most well-known woman on the Waffle Home,” is a quote of the headline of an Ethel Cain profile in The New York Times. (Del Rey subsequently took a pretend shift at a Waffle Home in Alabama.) Cain can also be thought to have alluded to Lana Del Rey on social media prior to now.

Del Rey lately debuted new music at Stagecoach competition. The brand new songs are believed to be in line for a brand new album that has been referred to both as Lasso or The Right Person Will Stay.
