    Pushpalatha, the veteran South Indian actress, handed away on February 5 in Chennai at 87 after battling an sickness. She had a formidable profession that spanned a number of many years, showing in over 100 movies throughout Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema.  

    She made her debut in Tamil cinema with Senkkottai Singam in 1958 and entered Malayalam movies in 1969 with Nurse. A few of her most memorable roles have been in movies like Sarada, Kalyanaraman, and Sakalakala Vallavan, the place she labored alongside stars like M.G. Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, and Kamal Haasan.

    Pushpalatha was additionally a skilled Bharatanatyam dancer and even tried her hand at movie manufacturing. She married actor and producer AVM Rajan after assembly him on the units of Naanum Oru Penn, and so they had two daughters, together with actress Mahalakshmi.

    In her later years, Pushpalatha withdrew from the limelight, devoting herself to spirituality and social causes. Her passing marks the tip of an period in South Indian cinema, however her legacy lives on via the generations she impressed.
