Lizzo has been tapped to play Sister Rosetta Tharpe in a brand new film concerning the godmother of rock’n’roll, Deadline stories. The movie, titled Rosetta, will likely be produced by Lizzo, Kevin Beisler, Nina Yang Bongiovi, and acclaimed actor Forest Whitaker, whereas Natalie Chaidez and Kwynn Perry deal with the screenplay.
