    Mandy, Indiana Side Project Set Dressing Announces Debut EP, Shares Video for New Song: Watch

    Mandy, Indiana producer and guitarist Scott Truthful has introduced the debut EP by Set Dressing, his new facet venture. I Can’t Be Alone Tonite comes out April 11 through Fire Talk. Ringing in that information is the one “Date Line,” which comes with a retrograded music video by Gretchen Krueger, that includes grainy 3D animations of toys, devices, and different colourful gadgets.     That is the second track Set Dressing has shared from I Can’t Be Alone Tonite, following final month’s “Class Valedictorian.” When discussing the “Date Line” video, Truthful emphasised the significance of Nineties toy sounds, liminal areas, and the movie Skinamarink as influences. “[Gretchen Krueger and I] felt that there was a darkish undercurrent to this monitor that was being masked by a sugary, day-glo coat of paint,” Truthful mentioned. “The track and visible discover how shiny plastic packaging can distract from extra sinister or dangerous intentions.”
