The mighty Metallica got here to the rescue after a hearth destroyed the principle stage of the Tomorrowland competition in Belgium threatened to cancel the EDM gathering only a couple days earlier than it was set to kick off. The legendary steel band lent the fest its stage that was in storage in close by Austria.
As beforehand reported, the frilly major stage for Tomorrowland was decimated in a massive fire on Wednesday (July sixteenth), with the fest set to kick off on Friday (July 18th) that includes EDM heavyweights like Swedish Home Mafia, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Deadmau5, and others all through the three-day weekend.
Metallica’s set, that includes a large wall of video screens (apparently from the band’s “WorldWired Tour”), was being saved in Austria and was airlifted to Belgium in a single day, as reported by Belgian information outlet HLN, and the competition miraculously kicked off and not using a hitch on Friday.
