    The Full Stay on the Plugged Nickel 1965, the storied Miles Davis dwell album, shall be reissued as an enormous field set on January 30, 2026. Out there in 10xLP and 8xCD editions through Columbia/Legacy, the reissue revives an album that has been out of print for 3 a long time, in accordance with a press launch. An excerpted double-LP, Stay On the Plugged Nickel: December 23, 1965 – Second Set, will come out on November 28 for Record Store Day. Discover the complete vinyl tracklist beneath.

    Recorded in a Chicago membership underneath a bakery, The Full Stay on the Plugged Nickel 1965 collects 4 units performed throughout December 22 and 23 that 12 months, with the group often called Davis’ Second Nice Quintet: Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams. Recreating the unique Mosaic Records presentation from 1995, the set includes some seven hours of music and comes with archival images and new liner notes by Syd Schwartz.
