Mitski will launch her first live performance movie in theaters around the globe on October 22. Directed by Grant James, Mitski: The Land is drawn from her three-night run with a seven-piece band at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre in 2024, behind the 2023 album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We.
The present options Monica Mirabile choreography and Andi Watson stage design, with audio combined by longtime Mitski producer Patrick Hyland.
